Description
Gabapentin binds to α2δ-1 subunits of Calcium channels decreases the release of glutamate and Substance-P neurotransmitters. Baclofen shows both mono- and polysynaptic reflexes at the spinal cord, relaxing spasticity. Nortriptyline inhibits the reuptake of serotonin and norepinephrine by the presynaptic neuronal membrane, thereby increasing the concentration of those neurotransmitters in the synapse.
